Dr. Lampson received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Washington. She has been licensed in the state of Washington to practice psychology since July of 1987 (WA 00001186) and has maintained a successful private practice for many years.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Lampson enjoys her work as a
full professor of graduate psychology at Northwest University and the Director of NUhope Community Counseling Center in Kirkland, WA, a training clinic for graduate students. Here she supervises students working toward a masters or doctorate in a counseling related field, thus helping train the next generation

A nationally recognized speaker and author, Dr. Lampson is also a trainer for The Gottman Institute.
Dr. Lampson bases her approach to treatment on Christian principles which means that she treats all patients with respect, caring and compassion. She believes that all of us struggle and hurt and can benefit from the power of the therapy relationship to promote healing, wisdom, and emotional strength. She openly discusses issues of faith only with those who wish to include their faith journeys as part of the therapy process. Dr. Lampson works with people of all faiths.
Dr. Lampson is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Washington State Psychological Association, the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals, the Academy of Eating Disorders, the Association for Psychology Training Clinics, and the Christian Association for Psychological Studies.
