Changing your mind can change your life!
So, how do you change your mind? Therapy is one way to do that. The research on therapy outcome indicates that psychotherapy does work and most people can make significant changes in 20 sessions.
The outcome research also says that the most important predictor of the success of therapy is the quality of the relationship between the psychologist and the person seeking help. This relationship is more important than the treatment approach, so regardless of whether the therapist uses CBT, DBT, psychoanalysis, family therapy, or group therapy, the only variable that consistently predicts a good outcome is the relationship. For this reason, I make the development of a good, strong, caring relationship my highest priority.
Please call or email me to schedule an initial appointment. I usually respond faster to e-mails than phone calls because I can reply to an e-mail at any time.
